I can see how you could look at swimming in a negative light and then having focused on those negatives then listening to circles and be happily surprised. I personally see the growth and changes mac made from swimming to circles as quite large. Yes it’s a sequel and yes they are connected but I don’t see why you would have to like one to enjoy the other, musically they are quite different.
